Bidens sulphurea

It is an herbaceous plant native to Mexico, often grown for the ornamental value of its flowers. It grows to between 0.80 and 1.5 m. tall, forming numerous branches. Flowers are yellow and appear at the end of long peduncles of 5 to 8 cm. in diameter with truncated petals. It propagates by seed and grows quickly, preferably in areas with cool climates and full sun exposure. In some regions it is classified as an invasive plant.

It is considered an ornamental plant since it flowers during most of the year and is often planted in large groups.
