Neoregelia hib. "fireball

It is an herbaceous plant native to Brazil, which can grow up to 10 cm. tall, and 15 cm. in diameter. The leaves are elongated, arranged in a rosette formation that acquire a deep red or pink color if exposed to light, and otherwise remain green in the shade. Propagation occurs by shoots. It requires drained soils, rich in organic matter, abundant light but not direct sunlight and constant irrigation.

Applications:

It is an ornamental plant, commonly used in outdoor gardens.
